Material Selection
1. Material Selection
We have 2 options to select your new flooring.
Option 1: Mobile Showroom:
We will bring our showroom to you.
Our convenient shop at home mobile showroom saves you time and eliminates the hassle of floor shopping by bringing our showroom directly to your home or business. Our flooring consultants will help you match and select the flooring that is perfect for your home’s décor and lighting all from the comfort of your own home.
Option 2: Showroom Meeting
We will coordinate a meeting with our showroom bathroom designer to choose all your materials for your bathroom. From wall paint to wall tile, floor tile, vanity, shower fixtures, tub, and all accessories we got you covered!

Material Delivery

We will coordinate all the material arrival at the job site.

Construction
1. Demolition & Haul Debris
First, we will be removing the old tile, flooring, and fixtures and haul the debris away.
2. Furniture Removal
We remove and cover all furniture before installation.
3. Floor Preparation
Before we start the installation we will make sure your subfloor is leveled.
If needed we will replace plywood or use cement to level concrete subfloor.

4. Underlayment Installation
Underlayment is a thin layer of material such as cork, rubber or foam. This layer of material helps cushion, sound absorption, insulation and reduce wear with your flooring.
In order to get perfect results, we will install the underlayment and then we will install your flooring on top.

5. Flooring Installation
There are 4 different installation methods that change based on the type of flooring you choose and the type of subfloor you have.
Laminate or vinyl flooring: usually these floors coming with a click system that connects together, it’s called “floating floors”
Solid hardwood & engineered flooring: this type of floors can be installed in 2 different ways:
Glue down or nail down or in some cases, we use both.
If your subfloors are concrete we use moisture barrier glue. This step will prevent the floors from buckling up or get warped.
If the subfloor is plywood we nail the floor down to the plywood subfloor, in order to get the best results we also use moisture barrier glue.
Carpet: these floors are always glued down to the subfloor.
Tile: in order to get the best tile installation for tile we first apply floating cement on walls or floors in order to level the surface and then use thinnest to glue the tile.
6. Baseboard Installation
After we finish the flooring installation we install baseboard panels
7. Transitions Installation
These is molding pieces to cover the gaps between rooms or 2 different types of flooring.
This step will complete the installation process and give your flooring the finished look.

8. Clean Job Site
We will clean the job site making sure the site is ready for your inspection.
9. Homeowner Inspection
We will do a walkthrough of the project making sure everything is done to your satisfaction and make corrections if needed.
